The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.
SASSA might be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed in regards to the higher range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This really is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The provider issue produced for intervention experiences a large influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to status sassa allow the servicing of all clients and boost access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
